High School Diploma/GED Certificate

Education: A high school diploma, GED certificate, or College Degree is recommended, but not required. Some apprenticeship programs require age of 17.5. high school diploma/GED certificate, and 1 year of high school algebra.

Earn Credentials

Most sheet metal workers learn their trade through 4- or 5-year apprenticeships.
