Must be able to pass fingerprinting clearance with the Dept. of Justice. Physical examination, proof of negative TB test within last three months or a chest x-ray within the last nine months. Copies of immunization record, driver's license (id) and social security card.
Educational Opportunities for Advancement
1st step up & time required
Complete 60 hours of classroom training and 100 hours of clinical training to become a CNA and additional 40 hours of training to become a HHA.
2nd step up & time required
A 16 hour orientation for newly employed nursing assistants.
